Postpartum Care

As a new mum I found those first few weeks at home so tough. You’re physically, emotionally and mentally drained, and caring for yourself can often be the last thing on your mind.

It is so important to get support and to outsource whatever you possibly can during those first weeks and months.

Disposable Postpartum Underwear - One of our most popular products, and something I will always bring with me to visit a new mum.

How do we support new mums?

One of my favourite ways to receive support as a new mum was through food. So that is what I love to do for others.

Coming into a newborn home to prepare meals is a very personal thing to do. It provides not only food but human connection, and the warmth of someone cooking for you is just delicious so to speak.

You might chat away the whole time, remain in silence or leave altogether for a nap or an appointment. All are welcome.

I love cooking for new parents, there is something so satisfying and fulfilling about it.

My system goes a little like this: I will go into a newborn home, and spend a little time getting to know what’s what. Is there a routine I should be aware of, have I got everything I need in case mum and baby need to nap. From there I cook and tidy, make cups of tea or coffee, warm up bottles and leave the house with your meals prepared and ready to go.

This postpartum meal service allows the family to focus on spending time together, and doing other things while I take care of the basic domestic tasks.

👶🏽 For those not wanting someone entering the home, I will prepare your meals and deliver them to your doorstop. Zero contact required.
